Slash unlocks global spend with Rain

Most international banking services stop at sending and receiving money, but Slash goes further.

Slash is an all-in-one B2B banking platform with built-in reimbursement and expense management, bill pay, invoicing, and vendor management, giving businesses a complete system to manage their finances.

Last August, Slash launched GlobalUSD, a USD business account designed for international companies seeking reliable dollar access and cross-border payment capabilities. Now, through its partnership with Rain, Slash extends that offering with cards, adding a seamless payment layer for global spend.

“The biggest thing Rain enables for our GlobalUSD users is the ability to spend,” Andy Jiang, Slash’s Head of Product, said. “We can now unlock the full capabilities of Slash to our [international] users so that it doesn’t feel like a different product from what US customers are using.”

Slash strives to offer the efficiencies of blockchain rails without the complexities that come with learning a new technology.

“Crypto shouldn’t feel like this alien thing,” Jiang said. “We abstract over everything in these crypto rails so that when our users use our product, it just feels like a fully Web2 experience.”
